On 8 January, the volleyball course leaders from TUBAF's university sports department organized their annual New Year's tournament. 15 different teams of beginners as well as hobby and league players accepted the invitation. And as is usual for an international university like TUBAF, some international teams also took part in the tournament.
With more than 100 participants, the tournament started punctually at 4.30 p.m. with the aim of meeting the 24-hour deadline and enabling participants to catch the last bus from the USZ to the city center. The atmosphere was fantastic and the fair play between the teams created a uniquely Olympic atmosphere. In the final, the two teams Bomboclat and Nicht besser aber hübschscher faced each other - with the better ending for Nicht besser aber hübschscher. congratulations!
All participants as well as the organizing instructors enjoyed the tournament and are already looking forward to the next tournament in the summer.
