The traditional New Year's tournament for footballers was a great success.
On 16.01.2025, a total of nine teams competed against each other in two groups in the large Glückauf sports hall from 17:30. GummiBIERchenbande and Dynamo Tresen as well as Flugobst and Schahin won their groups and advanced to the final round. In a nerve-wracking semi-final match, Schahin narrowly beat Die GummiBIERchenbande 3:2, while Dynamo Tresen beat Flugobst 4:1. In a demonstration of their playing class, Dynamo Tresen won the final match against Schahin with an unchallenged 7:1 and thus deservedly emerged as the winner of this year's New Year's tournament.
