A fantastic winter sports trip to the home of cross-country skiing! This exclusive winter sports offer is aimed specifically at cross-country skiers and students and employees of TU Freiberg who are interested in cross-country skiing.
Travel information
This fantastic winter sports trip is organized together with the HTWK Leipzig. As a small group, we will travel together in a minibus via ferry (Rostock-Gedser) to the well-known central Norwegian ski resort of Venabygdsfjellet, south of the Rondane National Park and north of Lillehammer. There we use a fully equipped self-catering house with two and three-bed rooms and a sauna house in Jonnhalt. From here we will go on daily cross-country skiing tours, practice sessions, but also cultural and regional explorations, e.g. to Lillehammer. The TUBAF University Sports Center is responsible for course management and vehicle guidance. The basic requirements for participation are intermediate, ideally good cross-country skiing experience and a certain amount of stamina. Ski equipment must be organized independently. For optimal preparation for the trip, there will be a special information event at the end of January / mid-February with lots of information, tips and the opportunity to exchange ideas.
